Patient-182

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient-182 went to Sunrise Hospital. He is 82 years old. They left him in a noisy, crowded hallway for 3 days, so his family took him to a better hospital in California. Patient's family says Sunrise Hospital owners and administrators are raking in the money and short-changing patients.

Patient-182 is an 82-year-old man who went to Sunrise Hospital after he fell.

His daughter says:

Steer clear of this ER (Emergency Room).

My 82-year-old dad fell while visiting Las Vegas and was delivered to this hospital emergency department via ambulance.

He remained in the Emergency Department for 3 days. Not in a room, but IN THE HALLWAY.

He was in a noisy, crowded, brightly lit 24-hours-per-day hallways for 3 nights before my mom and I decided to take him out against medical advice (AMA).

We drove him directly to a hospital in California where he could be admitted and taken care of properly.

He wasn't the only patient in the Sunrise ER hallway. There were many other beds lined up against the walls --- for who knows how long.

The overall experience was substandard and very disappointing.

The owners and administrators of Sunrise Hospital are raking in the money and short-changing patients terribly.

Just say NO to Sunrise Hospital
