Patient-67

Patient-67 had surgery with Dr. Kevin Laroche at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center. The patient's arm ended up worse than it was before the surgery. Dr. Laroche would only say "I don't know" and "I have no idea what happened."

Dr. Laroche doesn't know what he is doing. He doesn't take seriously the patient's body.

My surgery was a very simple biceps tendon reattachment --- one of the most common injuries in the body building community.

Kevin Laroche managed to screwed up my arm and the surgery.

I have a 12-inch scar incision, and my arm is still the same or even worse (due to 12-inch scar, skin scarring and 6 months wasted on "recovery") after surgery.

My arm after surgery was still what they called "Popeye's arm" which was the reason why we did the surgery --- to fix the issue. After the surgery and the swelling went down, I noticed my bicep looked the same and felt the same as before the surgery.

I kept telling Kevin that the surgery wasn't good, something was wrong. He kept telling me to work out the muscle, to build it up. What's there to build up when there is no muscle?

He didn't reattach my biceps with my tendon properly during surgery, so my biceps continues to be de-attached from the tendon causing the "Popeye's arm" effect.

After 6 months of dealing with the surgery recovery, physical therapy, and laser treatments to clear the 12-inch scar he did on my arm, i told him to do an other MRI because my arm didn't feel right.

Kevin Laroche kept saying "work out the muscle," "build it up."

I knew something was wrong, so I did not do exercise to prevent further injury.

After I did the second MRI, there it is --- my biceps is still de-attached from my tendon. It's the same as before (actually worse than before surgery).

Now I have a 12-inch scar on my arm, 6 months wasted on a surgery that was poorly performed, wasted time and well-being in surgery recovery, time wasted in physical therapy, money wasted on laser treatments for the scar.

Kevin Laroche's reactions after the second MRI that revealed how bad he screwed up were "I don't know" and "I have no idea what happened."

This surgeon should NOT be in business.
