Patient-27

Patient went to Dr. Reynold Rimoldi at Nevada Orthopedic for treatment for 2 herniated discs. Dr. Rimoldi was rude and condescending when the patient said she did not want surgery. She says Dr. Rimoldi should not be seeing patients and advises patients to "run to the nearest exit if you are ever referred to him."

Let me start by saying if I could give this guy a minus 10 I would.

I have two herniated disc C5-6 & C6-7. Not sure how this happened as I was not in an accident.

My report said I have a C 6 herniated disc root nerve. (I found this out because I read my report that came with my MRI because the Dr. did not go over it with me and Southwest Medical Associates called me to tell me this and sent me to this quack).

Now I have no clue what this means because Dr. Rimoldi (which we really should not call him a doctor) would not give me the time of day to ask any questions.

He told me that I was not going to die from a herniated disc or be paralyzed from this. Well good to know, but I knew I was not going to die.

Now as for the other, I would not trust him as far as I can throw him -- for him to tell me I was not going to be paralyzed from this as it is pushing on my spinal cord. (He did show me my MRI, and that is how I know this).

He gave me all of 4 minutes, and that is being generous. He did all the talking, and every time I asked a questioned he would dismiss me.

He told me I had 3 options...traction and physical therapy, injections, or surgery.

I was able to get out I did not want surgery only as a last resort, at which point I also asked what he recommended and he said I gave you 3 choices you choose.

So now I am the doctor and I get to decide what is the best path of treatment for me. WOW I did not know I went to medical school.

He sent in his assistant, and I unloaded on her and demanded a phone number to report his ass. I am so upset. I felt like I was cattle.

Dr. Rimoldi has no time for his clients, no people skills, is rude, condescending and will not even talk to you or answer questions.

This man needs to be removed from seeing clients. I cannot believe he is still employed.

I would not let him cut on me if he was the last surgeon on earth -- that is how bad he is.

RUN do not Walk to the nearest exit if you are ever referred to him.

Now as bad as this is, I have another appointment tomorrow at the same clinic with a different doctor for my torn meniscus. Uggghh.

I asked to see the patient advocate person which she came in and is going to get me another ortho doctor to replace above said doctor, but I am scared to go back.

Not sure what I am going to do. I may be writing another review tomorrow. I will keep you posted about my knee Dr. tomorrow as well.
