Patient-371

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient-371 went to Dr. Arthur Taylor at Nevada Orthopedic. Horrible experience. Patient says Dr. Arthur Taylor is a joke and would not repair his damaged tendon, so the patient found a better doctor and had surgery. The new doctor said surgery was needed immediately in order to avoid permanent damage. The patient wonders why Dr. Taylor is still employed and advises everyone to FIND A BETTER DOCTOR.

Patient-371 went to Dr. Arthur Taylor at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center.

Patient says:

Dr. Arthur Taylor is a complete joke!!

I showed him my thumb, and Dr. Taylor said it was "fine."

In fact, he said, word for word, "YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND WORRY. THIS IS NOT A BAD INJURY. IF YOU WANT TO SEE BAD, YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE SUNDAY NIGHT." (Dr. Taylor was referring to the 1 October event.)

What kind of care provider would have the nerve to say something like that?

Dr. Taylor was clearly not going to help me, so I scheduled an appointment with a different doctor.

About 2 weeks later, the new doctor recommended surgery immediately in fear it was already too late --- as it turned out to be.

My thumb will never be the same because of Dr. Arthur Taylor.

Dr. Taylor would NOT even let me speak.

Thankfully, the new doctor did his job or I would still have a severed tendon bunched up in my wrist.

Why Dr. Taylor is still employed is beyond me!!!

Had I seen all of the negative reviews, I would have requested a new doctor (sooner).

Please take my advice and do what all of us wished we had done --- FIND A BETTER DOCTOR!!!

And, for what it's worth, I feel one star is more credit than Dr. Taylor deserves.
