Patient-89

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient-89 was forced to stay at Sunrise Hospital for several days because they said they did not have a cardiologist available. The patient said the room was filthy and the hospital looked like a madhouse. He had to demand to be released.

This is another story where the Hospital Hostage Hotline could have helped the patient because Sunrise Hospital would not allow him to leave.

ALERT: If you are currently in the hospital and your rights are being violated or they are trying to force you to do something against your will, call Hospital Hostage Hotline right now at 888-219-3637.

Here is the story of Patient-89:

I was brought in by ambulance because I had passed out.

My time in the Emergency Room was a nightmare.

It looked like a madhouse. It was filthy and no one would do anything to help me.

I was put in a room where I was forgotten about for hours. I was told not to get out bed when I had to use the restroom. No one would come.

My wife was the one caring for me in THEIR hospital.

(At this point, they claimed I had COVID and would not allow my wife to come see me.)

They had me on dirty sheets for days.

The staff was incredibly rude.

I was there nearly a week and the reason why was because their cardiologist needed to release me. I was told he was on vacation. They were trying to tell me they had ONLY ONE cardiologist. Yeah, right!!

So, their plan was to keep me there until said person came back (from vacation).

I wasn't okay with this, and after my wife assured them she knew there was more than one cardiologist in the hospital, they got another doctor to come in. He was the rudest person ever.

He released me after some blood work, but the staff didn't like the fact that I was angry, so they kept me two more days until my wife called and demanded to know why I was still there.

THEN THEY RELEASED ME.

I could write a horror novel on my time there.

DO NOT go to Sunrise Hospital. Insist on another hospital if you are coming by ambulance.

Your health is not a concern at Sunrise.

That hospital should be shut down.
