Patient-329
No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-329 went to Sunrise Hospital. There were lots of issues including the roommate's wife who stayed the entire time, making noise, washing things in the sink, and eating her own food. No communication between employees on different shifts. Misinformation from the kidney doctor regarding the size of my kidney stone and the treatment options. Very disappointing care.
Patient-329 went to Sunrise Hospital. Poor medical care.
Lots of issues.
Visitor policy. Had a roommate in room 4525. The patient's wife stayed 24/7 and did not leave.
The 4th and 5th of September at 3:00 am to 4:30 am she was up washing something in the sink, eating her own food brought into the room. Messing with bags making so much noise I could not sleep.
One nurse at 12:40 am on the 5th woke me up and told me she wanted to give me a clean up. I told her me wife had cleaned me during the swing shift.
No communication between shifts about patients.
Had a tube in left kidney, and I kept having to call nurse to empty bag. They should have checked it every few hours. I should NOT have to remind them.
As for kidney Dr. Alali, he told me I had a 7 mm stone.
From what I am hearing from the urologist at my clinic, the kidney stone is bigger then what Dr. Alali said.
He also said to me that the stone cannot be removed from the tube in my kidney.
I heard differently.
I went several days without my meds. I kept telling doctors about it.
Very disappointing customer service (resulting in poor medical care).
