No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-242 went to Dr. Ronald Hillock at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center for knee surgery. Dr. Hillock was rude and did not want to answer questions. The nurse said Dr. Hillock is hard to get along with. Difficulty with scheduling and getting responses from the office. Patient will not be recommending Dr. Hillock to anyone else ever.
Patient-242 went to Dr. Ronald Hillock at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in regard to knee pain and was told she needed orthopedic surgery.
Here are the patient's comments:
When I tried to talk with Dr. Hillock, he was very short and curt (abrupt) in response to my questions. He just said his assistant will be in to talk to you.
When I went in to schedule the surgery, Dr. Hillock was even worse than the first time.
His surgery scheduler told me I would be called the day before surgery to confirm the time of surgery. I never received a call and showed up at the surgical facility to find out the surgery was scheduled for 8:00 a.m.
The lady at the surgical center was very nice and helpful and told us to wait because they would be needing to get me ready for surgery soon.
While the nurse was getting me ready for surgery, she said the doctor was good but hard to get along with.
When I explained my feelings about the office visits, she was shocked.
When she mentioned to the doctor about the problem with surgery scheduling, he would not even look at me and said I was told on my last office visit --- which was not true.
His staff won't answer phone calls. It is just an answering machine.
They don't return calls in any kind of timely manner.
Very poor service and very poor patient relations or consideration.
I won't be recommending Dr. Hillock to anyone else ever.
