No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-355 went to Sunrise Hospital. She went to the Emergency Room 8 times in one month, presenting with shortness of breath and chest and left arm pain and was told nothing was wrong with her. They sent her home each time without proper medical care. Two months later, she finally learned she had a herniated disc and torn muscles. The staff treated her with disrespect and complete lack of compassion. Patient says Dr. Lovinger needs to be removed from patient care.
Patient-355 went to Sunrise Hospital.
I went to the Emergency Room (ER) at least 8 times in one month, presenting with shortness of breath and chest and left arm pain and was told nothing was wrong with me despite not being able to breathe.
I was sent home every time!!
As it turns out, I had a herniated disc and torn muscles which I did NOT find out until two months later.
You are doctors, but you need to listen to us.
We know what we are experiencing.
We are the ones going through it!!
Every time I was told that I have anxiety and some sort of benzo and pain medication was given to me (which did NOT work). Go figure!!
I did benefit from these encounters --- as a nursing student.
I was able to witness bad nursing behavior firsthand --- being on the receiving end.
Great learning experience (on how NOT to be a nurse).
However, so much time and frustration could have been avoided each time if the doctors had actually listened to me and believed me.
Upon being admitted to the ER by ambulance, I told one of the nurses that I was going to fall and pass out because I could NOT breathe, and she snapped back:
"Well, if you fall, I can't pick you up off the ground."
Excuse me??? Isn't it in your job description to NOT let me fall in the first place, especially when brought in by ambulance???
Dr. Lovinger almost killed me in the ER by neglecting to treat me!!!
Instead, he chose to make his own assumptions about me and was yelling at me at the top of his lungs while I was on the bed in the CT room having my chest scanned
Please take Dr. Lovinger out of patient care.
