Patient-276
No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-276 went to Sunrise Hospital. Patient was kept on a gurney for 19 hours. Patient says they are choosing money and greed over patient care. As one example of the poor care she received, they were attempting to give her a medication that she was allergic to, but she caught it before it was too late. Patient says "If you're looking for a hospital and you want to be able to walk out alive, avoid Sunrise Hospital and HCA Healthcare altogether."

If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would.
Sunrise Hospital is choosing money and greed over patient care.
For example, if you're coming in from another facility via ambulance for specialized treatment, you shouldn't have to wait on a gurney for nineteen hours until you are given a normal bed.
They are walking a fine line between doing what's right or quick, which is resulting in medical errors.
For example, they were trying to give me a medication that would stop my breathing because of an allergy.
If I wasn't aware enough I wouldn't be typing this right now.
Do better Sunrise!!! People are looking up to you.
And as you begin your new transformation to include more Children's Hospital availability, you're setting yourself up for a huge lawsuit.
If you're looking for a hospital and you want to be able to walk out alive, avoid Sunrise Hospital and HCA Healthcare altogether.
Note to readers: As a reminder, HCA Healthcare also owns MountainView Hospital and Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas. See our page on Who to Call to learn more about the ownership of Las Vegas hospitals.
Quick hint: Except for UMC (which is owned by the state of Nevada), all of the other hospitals in Las Vegas are owned by billionaires and their corporations. What do you think those corporate-owned hospitals are focusing on?
