Patient-43

Patient-43 was in Sunrise Hospital for more than two weeks while she suffered without a diagnosis and very poor medical care. She was not bathed and was left in bed on the same dirty sheets. She was eventually taken to their horrible rehab facility where the bad treatment continued.

This is the single worst hospital in the United States!!!

My girlfriend suffers from various ailments, and all doctors do when she has to be admitted is tell her they will do tests and have a doctor speak to her.

They do next to nothing, and she usually has to wait for days before a doctor comes to visit.

When they finally do tests, they tell her they're not sure what's wrong with her. It's always comforting when your doctor says they can't figure out what's wrong, right?!

One of the reasons she had to go back to this shithole was because she was unable to pee anymore. They hooked her up to a catheter and still can't figure out why she's having trouble. She developed muscle spasms in her legs and wasn't able to walk without falling. They just tell her she needs to walk more often. She needs a walker but they refused her.

She laid in bed for days with very little to no progress. They don't even change the bedsheets, so she's been laying in dirt for almost two weeks now without bathing, because they're "too busy" but will get her a shower soon. Then two more days go by before she can even get a shower.

Several days later, they tell her she has C-Diff and she'll need to go to a rehab facility to get medication and therapy for her legs.

She's now rotting in Spanish Hills "Wellness Suites" where she is supposed to be on antibiotics for 10 days, and this place only put her on a day and a half's worth. They refuse to even walk her in the hallway and tell her she needs to walk on her own. So if she winds up breaking bones when she falls again, who does she sue???

Sunrise Hospital is extremely incompetent, but if you enjoy being treated like shit then it is highly recommended.The only thing this hospital is good for is bilking as much money from your insurance as possible, before they send you home because your insurance won't pay for any more.
