Patient-344

Patient-344 went to Sunrise Hospital. Received very poor care. Hospital was dirty and poorly staffed with careless, incompetent people. They would NOT allow the patient's husband to be with her (for no good reason). It took them 6 hours to do a CT scan. Patient had to wait for an hour to get help to go to the bathroom. Patient's family says the employees should NOT be in healthcare if they don't care about people and only care about a paycheck.

Patient-344 went to Sunrise Hospital after she was run over by some kids riding bikes on the sidewalk outside their hotel.

Patient's daughter says:

My mother was taken to Sunrise Hospital to be evaluated.

Not only did they NOT allow my father to come in with her to advocate for her (for no good reason), but the service and care was very lackluster (to say the least).

All she needed was an X-ray or CT scan to see if her leg was broken.

This whole ordeal took over 6 hours.

She asked for help to go to the bathroom and had to wait for nearly an hour for someone to take her.

She asked the female nurse for water, but the nurse dismissed her request saying, "I don't know if the doctor cleared you for water." (She was not going to have surgery, so there was no reason to deny her water.)

When the doctor finally showed up and confirmed she can have water, the young, female nurse said she was too busy....so my mother spent nearly 5 hours without a drink of water.

The hospital was dirty and poorly staffed with careless and incompetent people.

If you don't care about people and only care out a paycheck, you should NOT be working in healthcare!!!
