Patient-90

Patient-90 was in Sunrise Hospital with very little medical care. Lack of communication and no answers from the doctors. Nurses were rude. He was there for 11 days and received nothing but a bad experience.

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here!!

We came to Vegas for vacation. It was my son's first visit to Vegas for his birthday.

We ended up bringing him to the Emergency Room (ER) with severe pain. We got in fast, and he was admitted by midnight. He got moved to the surgery floor.

Then things went downhill from there.

We have been in town for 12 days going on 13. My son has been in the hospital for 10 going on 11. He has asked for transfer back home to continue treatment.

We ask one provider, but that doc says NO. They tell us this doc has the say so, but then we get told it's someone different.

I asked for social worker. You think anyone came? Nope.

The RN came to speak to us. She said she would be back the next day, but she didn't show her face.

I asked for the Patient Advocate. All he did was read the record while we stated what was going on.

We had one doctor say he didn't care and we didn't matter because we are not from here (Las Vegas).

From the minute we came in, I had to address an RN in the ER about her bedside manners. She was talking about my son while he was going through pain.

These doctors basically said there are too many chefs in the kitchen, and no one wants to start cooking. How professional is that?

They have violated my son's right as a patient!!

They are unethical, condescending and don't explain his treatment.

As we go on day "whatever," as I'm losing count.

I will be filing complaints with each providers' medical license, accreditation and funders.

So many of the reviews all say the same thing and describe what we are currently going through!!

Horrible hospital. Providers are unethical. They have no compassion for people, and they are in the business of caring for people.

It doesn't surprise me why people don't seek medical care because the professionals in the field don't care about the patients.
