Patient-320

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient-320 went to Sunrise Children's Hospital. Horrible experience. This was a toddler with a fever of 105 degrees. Made them wait in the waiting room. The exam room had blood and urine on the counter and the bed. Very inept (unskilled) handling during attempts at IV placement. They wanted to perform unnecessary procedures that would have caused a stroke. Patient's family says DO NOT take your child to Sunrise Children's Hospital, and they are shocked it has accreditation from any health organization.

This hospital is a disgrace to medical care!!

My toddler son's temperature was over 105 degrees, and they attempted to make us wait in the waiting room.

The patient room had blood and urine on the counter and on the bed.

The blonde nurse, Dani, was patronizing and dug around in my son's hand for a vein when she clearly did NOT know what she was doing.

They wanted to perform unnecessary procedures that would have caused a stroke because of my son's ailment. When I refused, the charge nurse threatened to escalate with social services.

Another hospital had to intervene and tell them NO.

They stole my son's images and refused to return them.

This is a FOR PROFIT hospital.

They don't care about children.

They care about making money --- whether or not it hurts the children.

DO NOT take your child to Sunrise Children's Hospital.

The fact that is hospital has any accreditation from any health organization demonstrates the lack of actually inspecting the conditions of the hospital and screening the nurses and doctors.

Their own attending physician said, "If you want good medical care, don't live in Las Vegas."

And to the owner: Don't bother responding with "we will help and please call," because you will do NOTHING an d ignore.

Sunrise Children's Hospital should be SHUT DOWN!!
