A baby died at Sunrise Children's Hospital, possibly due to being given the wrong antibiotic, but the hospital administration is hiding and will not take accountability.

This story is written by a woman, on behalf of her friend whose baby boy, named Truth, died at Sunrise Children's Hospital on November 12, 2024.

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes and determination in my heart as a Doula.

I get so many different situations that come across my desk but never anything like this and never has it hit so close to home.

Truth was born on October 17, 2024, at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, by way of C-section. Truth was born at 38 weeks 6 lbs 11 oz. Truth did not take his first baby breath, so his mother, Sade, was informed that he would need to be on oxygen. She was told that once Truth was breathing on his own he would be released.

Truth began to breathe on his own and all of his tests came back negative, but he developed jaundice. Then, they said Truth had a fever. This is when things begin to take a turn for the worst.

The doctors treated Truth with an antibiotic that was too strong for his little body.

We are not sure if this is what went wrong, but something went wrong, and no one at Sunrise Hospital is giving us answers nor are they taking accountability as to what happened to baby Truth.

We need justice we need answers. We need to spread awareness of the things taking place in these hospitals.

On November 12, 2024 baby Truth took his final breath.
