Patient-254

Patient-254 went to Dr. Arthur Taylor at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center with a broken wrist. He refused to answer questions and told the patient to focus on choosing between having surgery or letting the break heal on its own. Patient says Dr. Taylor's behavior was unacceptable and does NOT recommend him.

Patient-254 went to Dr. Arthur Taylor at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center.

He looked at the X-rays of my wrist and said, "You have a choice of surgery  or letting the break heal on its own."

I replied, "I need more information before I can make that decision."

I started asking questions, and Dr. Taylor said, "Just focus on the choice."

He refused to take time to answer my questions and said he had to see other patients and said someone would be in to put my arm in a cast. Then he left the room.

When I returned 5 weeks later, the cast was taken off.

Dr. Taylor did NOT take another X-ray or give any update or information. He just said, "You're free to go."

I find Dr. Taylor's behavior unacceptable, although typical of some doctors. He and they do NOT take time to discuss problems with patients --- merely shuffling patients in and out.

I do NOT recommend this doctor, and I certainly would NOT agree to have him perform surgery on me due to his uncaring attitude.
