Patient-4

Young man with severe back pain. No lab tests, no imaging, no diagnosis on the paperwork. Discharged with Oxycodone and sent out on the street by himself.

My son, Maxwell, twisted his back and heard a pop and is in pain.

He tried comfort measures at home, but he could not get out of bed. We called an ambulance, and he was taken to Sunrise Hospital.

At the hospital, with extreme back pain, he was forced to sit in a chair in the lobby.

A nurse gave him an Oxycodone pill, but a doctor did not talk to him or evaluate his condition.

They did no imaging studies and no blood tests.

They gave him Oxycodone and sent him out on the street by himself. He was shoeless and in pajamas (remember he came to the hospital in an ambulance). No wheelchair was provided.

Another unsafe discharge by Sunrise Hospital without proper evaluation or treatment.

The discharge paperwork has no diagnosis, and the work letter was blank---no explanation, no signature.

I ask your help to flood the Nevada State Medical Board and Sunrise Hospital with complaints. No one should have to endure this treatment.
