Patient-4

Young man with severe back pain. No lab tests, no imaging, no diagnosis on the paperwork. Discharged with Oxycodone and sent out on the street by himself.

A  young man was in horrible pain and went to Sunrise Hospital. He had twisted his back and heard a loud pop.

He tried comfort measures at home, but he could not get out of bed. His family called an ambulance, and he was taken to Sunrise Hospital.

He was forced to sit in a chair in the lobby -- in horrible pain.

A nurse gave him an Oxycodone pill, but a doctor did not talk to him or evaluate his condition.

They did no imaging studies and no blood tests.

They gave him Oxycodone and sent him out on the street by himself.

The discharge paperwork has no diagnosis, and the work letter was blank---no explanation, no signature.
