Patient-285
No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-285 went to Sunrise Hospital for issues relating to diabetes. Absolutely horrified. Hospital was filthy, dirty. Patient was injected with something unknown in her IV. Then she was given a pain medication which knocked her out, and they left her in the waiting room for 12 hours. Security started poking her, telling her to call for a ride or wait outside (when it was 112 degrees).
I was absolutely HORRIFIED,
I was brought in by ambulance, for health issues from uncontrolled diabetes that have recently surfaced. (SEVERE symptoms).
The paramedics were very attentive to me. However, once I got to the emergency room, the nurses and attending physician in the ER (Emergency Room) DID NOT listen to what the paramedics & myself told them when they asked "what was the reason for me to be brought in".
The paramedics had started an I.V. on me, and when I was put in a ER room in a chair, another nurse came in with a syringe 3/4 full of something. I was told it was antibiotics, but I explained that I just got here, and no tests had been done, no one has come to take blood, and I had not seen a doctor yet.
The nurse explained to me that it's standard procedure. I asked, for what, and she said that there was sepsis running rampant in the hospital.
Then without my permission, she put what was in the syringe in my IV line.
I told her to STOP. SHE DIDN'T STOP.
Then a doctor came in and asked me what were my symptoms, I explained it's my diabetes, ketoacidosis, and 30 mins later I was discharged with having a UTI (urinary tract infection). What????
I was also given some kind of pain meds in my IV that left me knocked out cold in the waiting room for 12 hrs.
It was filthy dirty.
I remember security was poking my arm and legs telling me to get up and call for a ride.
If I didn't have a ride coming I would have to leave and wait outside. It was 112° outside.

This is a stock photo of something being injected into a patient's IV.
