Another patient with a botched surgery by Dr. Michael Bradford, long delays, no pain meds, phone calls not returned, patient had to go back to the hospital to get the staples removed, one year later and still in pain

This is a first-person account by Patient-15.

My experience with Dr. Bradford started on 7-23-16. I fell and broke my left hip. Dr. Bradford told me I needed a complete hip replacement.

I lay in the hospital for 2 1/2 days. My surgery kept getting moved back, and my hospital pain doctor was not kept abreast of the changes, so I went without medication for pain way too long.

Finally at midnight, they took me to the surgery center where I was to be operated on then. But they took another girl ahead of me again. So again, I waited and still had no pain meds.

After 5 weeks, I expected a call to see about getting my staples out. I called the office and left a message for Rafael to please call me back as I needed to get my staples out after my hip replacement, I got no call back. I called back several more times and explained it was very important. Still no reply.

I went back to the hospital, and the nurse called Dr. Bradford. He told her to go ahead and take out the staples.

I had rehab and home care, but after 7 months, I was still in extreme pain, so I called Dr. Bradford's office for an appointment.

It has been a whole year now, and I am still in pain and I have to wait forever to get past Rafael for an appointment. I called my insurance company and let them know what I have to go through to get any help at all.

I should NOT have this pain this long after a hip replacement if everything was done correctly. I want to know what is wrong and what can be done to fix the problem!!!

I want to be treated like a real patient with a real problem and to be able to get in to see Dr. Bradford!!!
