Patient-73

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient-73 had a terrible experience at Sunrise Hospital. Poor communication and delays without food or water. Delayed his test for another day so they could charge for an extra day. Staff was unprofessional. The doctor gave no diagnosis but said there was no cure.

Terrible experience here.

My husband is admitted right now. He fainted at work due to low blood count. They did a blood transfusion twice, said the first time didn't work.

Fine... but they had an endoscopy to check if it's because of his ulcers.

We had to stay another night because of the delay. He was scheduled for 8 a.m. and didn't have the test until 2 p.m.

My husband was hungry, dizzy and thirsty because he needed to fast.

Then, the nurse says he can take Tylenol. Like what? You just told him to fast, right?

Then the doctor told him the result --- but no cure. Just told him all is good. Like... what? No cure, no explanation why my husband fainted, or what to do next?

Today, they said my husband would be discharged. Since this morning, they kept on saying he will be discharged. It's now 3 p.m. You already know based on their GENERIC response that they don't care.

This profit hospital will be charging us for an extra night for nothing.

My husband is now more stressed out and this hospital is the worst.

Never will I work with any doctors at this hospital. I have never been so stressed out and have never met such unprofessional people at a hospital.

ZERO STARS.
