Patient-204 went to Sunrise Hospital. Patient was left on a bedpan for over an hour. Communication was very poor. Facility was dark, dirty and poorly maintained. Staff was rude, dismissive and lacking compassion. Patient cannot recommend Sunrise Hospital.
My experience at Sunrise Hospital was extremely disappointing.
During my stay, I was left on a bedpan for over an hour despite repeatedly needing assistance. As someone dealing with serious injuries and limited mobility, being ignored in that situation was humiliating and unacceptable.
Communication was also very poor. I struggled to get clear answers about my condition and treatment, and at times I felt like I was being kept in the dark about what procedures had been performed and what my recovery plan looked like.
The facility itself felt dark, dirty, and poorly maintained compared to other hospitals I’ve experienced.
More importantly, many of the staff members I interacted with came across as rude, dismissive, and lacking compassion during a time when patients are at their most vulnerable.
After receiving care elsewhere, I realized how much better a hospital experience can be.
If I had known there was an ICU option at MountainView Hospital, I would have chosen that facility instead and avoided Sunrise altogether.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Sunrise Hospital based on my experience.
