Patient-298

Patient-298 went to Dr. Bradley Baker at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center. Horrible care. The worst!! Patient was in excruciating pain and unable to lift his leg. MRI showed torn ACL and PCL, but Dr. Baker said it is arthritis and there is no cure. Lack of communication from the office. Patient says he will NEVER AGAIN go to Nevada Orthopedic.

Horrible, the worst!!

After the nightmare of waking up, unable to lift my right leg to put my sock on or bend it backward without excruciating pain, I had sprained my knee.

I went to the primary care and directly to an X-ray after injections.

Then I had to wait a couple weeks for an MRI. The MRI took nearly an hour.

Then I was scheduled for an appointment with Nevada Orthopedic. Even though I requested the local office on Wigwam, they scheduled me for the Summerlin location which is an hour away.

So, I re-scheduled with a different doctor at the Wigwam facility and had to wait an additional three days in total pain.

I get there and finally see Dr. Bradley Baker who said --- even though the MRI detailed a partially torn ACL and PCL --- they were indeed intact.

They rushed through my appointment time, and I literally had to ask the doctor if I should get physical therapy.

I already had the referral on file, but he says okay I can give you an order for that.

Then he rolls out (leaves the room) and provided no additional information about the prognosis for healing, the timeline, nothing.

I had to get their patient advocate involved.

When she finally gets back to me after speaking with Dr. Baker, she tells me it is patellofemoral arthritis and there is no cure, but injections are possible that will mitigate the pain.

She will do the checking on insurance. (I already knew it was covered.)

This was a week ago, and there has been no communication from their office.

This company is only out for money. They care ZERO about the patients.

So, I call today to ask, and I get a nasty operator that tells me nobody is available to speak to, leave a message and they will get back to you.!!!

Sure!! I will not hold my breath.

NEVER AGAIN will I use this clinic.

I am stuck now for the injections as I have gone too far with them.

Going forward, I will use Advanced Orthopedics. I have used them before, and they are much better at communicating.
