No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-290 went to Sunrise Hospital. Patient was moved out of a private room and left in the hallway for many hours, without food or water. He was given incorrect and false information. Staff were just joking around and sharing private medical information in the hallways. Patient chose to sign an AMA form and leave after being lied to, dehydrated and weak.
Patient-290 went to Sunrise Hospital.
He was moved out of a room with a TV and privacy. Then put in hallway exposed for 13 hours!!
No TV, no water, no food --- only to be told that a room is being prepared for me but don't know when.
During my 14th hour, I was told that a room would be open in the next hour.
Then 1 1/2 hours later it was revealed to me the testing wouldn't for another 24 to 48 hours!!
I had all the tests, exams, etc. before. My neurologist told me 2 months ago that all the extra testing was unnecessary.
So I left AMA after being lied to and dehydrated and weak from waiting for what?
The staff just joked around, sharing private medical information about patients in the hallways.
I was finally given some food, but no water.
I will never accept any help from Sunrise Hospital again.
Seems all is wanted is our insurance money and dealing with unnecessary, unprofessional behavior.
