Patient-189
No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-189 went to Dr. Ronald Hillock at Nevada Orthopedic for a hip replacement. He left the patient with foot drop and ruined the patient's life. Dr. Hillock told the patient about "foot drop" in the recovery room. Dr. Hillock disappeared after that and never met with the patient again. Patient says he "does not understand how Dr. Hillock received any good reviews. I'm pretty sure they are all fake!!"
I do not understand how this Doctor received any good reviews . I'm pretty sure they are all fake!!
This man ruined my life with my hip replacement. I ended up with foot drop and he told me in recovery, and I never saw the man again even for post-op appointments.
Terrible bedside manner especially after surgery. I believe his remark was "my bad" after informing me of my foot drop.
I'm not sure if anyone knows how bad debilitating foot drop is, but my life has never been the same, and it causes other problems within the movement of the body.
It changed the way I walk so much that I wore out the other hip and needed a hip replacement on the other side. Needless to say I did not use him.
I even consulted an attorney.
I should have written this review years ago, but I honestly thought my foot would "come back to like" he told me. Ridiculous!!
Warning!! Other patient stories have also mentioned the "disappearing act" by surgeons at Nevada Orthopedic. They disappear when things go wrong.
