Patient-158

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient-158 went to Dr. Reynold Rimoldi at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center for a second opinion about surgery. Dr. Rimoldi was very condescending and rude. He told the patient, "If you get paralyzed, you're not going to put that on me." Patient commented about fake reviews on Google.

I went to Dr. Reynold Rimoldi at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center to get a second opinion about a potential surgery.

It was the worst decision I ever made!!!

Dr. Rimoldi was very condescending and rude.

He would not answer my questions.

He kept telling me “If you get paralyzed, you’re not going to put that on me.“

He would not tell me yes or no (as to whether I should have the surgery).

He told me that my problem doesn’t seem “that bad” and that it’s up to me. Obviously, I know that. That’s why I’m here to get a second opinion from a doctor.

His behavior and responses to my questions were horrible.

He was raising his voice at one point. It just came out of nowhere. Totally not what I expected.

If you could go anywhere else, please don’t go here. I see that he has a 3.9 review on Google, but someone posted a screenshot that showed Dr. Rimoldi had an average rating of only 1.3, and I believe that.

All these other good/positive Google reviews seem really fake.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR!!

FAKE REVIEWS

It is estimated that approximately 42% of positive reviews are fake, and 85% of customers believe that some ratings and reviews are fake.

Companies are paying "paid-review farms" and "fake review networks" and offering incentives to customers and others to post fake reviews in order to create a false sense of consumer confidence in their businesses.

Sometimes, customers are bribed or threatened in order to boost the number of positive reviews.

Fake reviews have eroded consumer confidence in the quality and reliability of some businesses, so the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) took action.

In October of 2024, the Federal Trade Commission issued new rules making fake reviews illegal.
