No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-196 was in Sunrise Hospital for 4 days in May 2026. Worst hospital experience ever. Doctors and staff were rude and dismissive. They told the patient's family he needed palliative care, but it was not provided. They just discharged the patient, with no further contact or care.
My husband was just in Sunrise Hospital for four days.
Worst hospital experience ever.
Doctors and staff were rude and dismissive.
On Tuesday, they came and told us he needed palliative and end of life care. A palliative person came to talk to us which was only to talk us into making him DNR (sign an order to Do Not Resuscitate).
Then Wednesday, the doctor discharged him and we haven’t heard from the palliative team again.
So now he doesn’t need those services?
This is a very stressful time, obviously, and instead of easing it, they just piled on.
Absolutely disgusting, smug personnel.
Don’t ever go to this hospital.
