Patient-37

No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital

Patient went to Sunrise Hospital for open heart surgery. They put her on a ventilator after surgery but did not inform the family. She was given increasingly high doses of fentanyl, and the doctor removed the chest tube even though the patient was bleeding. The patient died.

At Sunrise Hospital, it's all about the money. Heartless people that work in the ICU.

My mom went to Sunrise Hospital for open heart surgery. She came out of the surgery fine but was in a lot of pain. She was awake later that night, and they put her on a ventilator because (they claimed) she wasn't breathing deeply enough. We never got a phone call telling us that she was being put on a ventilator.

They gave her high doses of fentanyl. When she would wake up, they gave her more fentanyl, so they wouldn't have to deal with her.

At one point, the nurses kept coming in the room and turning up the fentanyl until she reached 300.

They decided to send her to a rehab place without giving me a chance to check it out. They told me it would cost $20,000 a day to keep her in the hospital.

She never should have left the hospital because of her serious condition.

Jen, a doctor in the ICU, removed my mom's chest tube, knowing she was still bleeding.

Jennifer, one of the nurses, wasn't paying attention and suddenly ran into the room to shut off one of my mom's medications. The doctor must have prescribed blood transfusions because an employee suddenly showed up with blood.

At Sunrise Hospital, it's all about the money. They don't care where they send your loved one, no matter what condition they are in.

My mom died a few days later due to their greedy asses.
