Patient-315
No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-315 went to Sunrise Children's Hospital. The patient's mother says some of the nurses in the NICU are good but some are very rough and aggressive. DO NOT leave your babies alone. You need to stay with them at all times and watch over them. Have your family and friends take turns to make sure your babies are safe. And keep an eye on your personal belongings.
Patient-315 was in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at Sunrise Children's Hospital.
Hold on to your belongings your items go missing in rooms are that are badge access only and cameras show no one walked out with it.
In Jesus name, may that not happen to any children where it's badge access and code access only.
Children's Sunrise hospital so far has its ups and downs.
Becky, the main manager with short hair who's available in the mornings, really disappointed me every time, I can't wait until she retires or is replaced.
I had a real complaint about a night shift nurse, and Becky made me feel as if my son and I did not matter --- and our belongings.
I would speak for only 1 min and her excuse was sorry I need to cut you off I have to go to a meeting and never came back.
I tried speaking to someone else, but she would come and intervene and say sorry to cut it short, we need to go to a meeting.
The doctors here are great especially in NICU.
Some nurses that are working from outside agencies, such as a nurse name Lilly, be very careful and request a new nurse.
Also, one trainee RN named Brandy, please have her removed because she is very rough with children.
I am a mom who stayed 24/7 at my child's bedside and what I saw happened to my 27-week-old son in NICU by Brandy broke my heart and made me want not leave my son side or trust any other nurse here.
Brandy does not have any kids of her own, so of course the pain she causes to our little ones does not phase her (or how rough she is).
One day, she will have some of her own and come across her own type in how aggressive she is and how she tries to hide it and contain our little ones right away so the parents don't see.
I saw what she did and asked kindly for her not to touch my son ever again.
I would not want any parent who goes home trusting night shift to see what I seen done by Brandy.
Trainees like Amy, Erika and Mandy provide 10/10 patient care especially to our little ones. They deserve a raise. If you come across them, you can see how kind they are to our little ones. RN leader Sharron is so kind, Jennifer Collins, and others.
If you feel or see any aggressive behavior or feel uncomfortable with a nurse, please request a new nurse until you feel comfortable.
Stay for a while and watch what happens.
I was fooled by Brandy. She came off nice and sweet until 3 a.m., and I saw how she aggressively removed the tape on my son's face
Like, wow, she definitely got him to scream and open his lungs.
What scared me is how she tried to cover his cry --- thinking I was not going to see. Lord seen it all and was there.
Also please look out for morning shift nurse Richelle. She comes off very nice, but she left my son alone and crying for hours wit no attention.
I was told this by another staff member as I stepped out and came back from resting.
Parents, stay with your children in NICU.
We are not visiting. We are a team. Switch shifts with loved ones but don't leave the little ones alone. We rest when they are home.
