Patient-295 went to Sunrise Hospital. Elderly woman was left unattended for several hours after surgery. Gave her a sandwich when she was supposed to be on a liquid diet. My 68-year-old mother was discharged yesterday morning.
I was waiting in the parking lot to pick her up.
She was wheeled out in a wheelchair and placed on a bench unattended while on morphine.
Her belongings during her overnight stay after surgery were misplaced for 12 hours.
I was hung up on 2 times by the nurses on her floor.
She was given a sandwich while she was supposed to be on a clear, liquid diet.
She was also left unattended for several hours after surgery.
