Patient-31

Patient went to Dr. Bradley Baker at Nevada Orthopedic with severe leg pain and received no medical care, lack of communication and intentionally incompetent appointment scheduling.

Horrible, the worst!

After the nightmare of waking up about six weeks ago unable to lift my right leg to my left to put my sock on, or bend it backward without excruciating pain, I had sprained my knee or so it would appear.

Went to the primary and directly to an xray after injections. Then had to wait a couple weeks for an MRI, the MRI took nearly an hour, then scheduled an appointment with Nevada Ortho.

Even though I requested the local office on Wigwam, they scheduled me for the  Summerlin office which is an hour away, so I rescheduled with a different doctor at the local facility and had to wait an additional three days in total pain.

I get there and finally see Dr. Baker who said even though the MRI detailed a partially torn ACL and PCL, that they were indeed intact. Really??

They rushed through my appointment time, and I literally had to ask the Dr. if I should get physical therapy. I had already the referral on file. He states okay I can give you an order for that.

Then he rolls out. No more information about the prognosis for healing, timeline, anything.

I had to get their patient advocate involved. When she finally gets back to me after speaking with Baker, she tells me it's patellofemoral arthritis and no cure, but injections are possible that will mitigate the pain.

She will do the checking on insurance (it is covered I know this). This is a week ago and no communication.

This company is only out for money they care zero about the patient.

So, I call today to ask and get a nasty operator that tells me nobody is available to speak to. Leave a message and they will get back to you!!!!

Sure I will not hold my breath.

Never again will I use this clinic.
