Patient-225

Patient-225 went to Dr. Kevin Golshani at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center with painful hands due to arthritis. The patient's husband was NOT allowed to go with her into the exam room. They have been married for 40 years and have never had this happen. Dr. Golshani was in the room for less than one minute. He looked at the X-rays and told the patient she has arthritis and there is no cure. Patient does NOT recommend Dr. Kevin Golshani.

Note to readers: Nevada Orthopedic does NOT allow anyone else to go with patients into the exam rooms. Why not? What are they hiding?

This was my first time to see this doctor, Dr. Kevin Golshani.

We checked in and were called to be placed in a room. The young lady told my husband he could NOT come in with me.

WHAT!?!? 40 years of marriage. He is a big part of my care.

Oh, but, she explains, he can listen out here from your cell phones. WOW!!!

After working a hospital myself, that would be a BIG NO NO for a HIPAA violation --- for other patients to overhear that conversation.

Shameful for seniors on Medicare not be allowed to be involved in each other's care. Big first for us. This has never happened before. We were both shocked!!

We will NEVER go back, nor would I ever recommend this office.

I did receive an injection that was horribly painful. My hand swelled up and so much pain.

Dr. Golshani was in and out of the room in about 1 minute. He looked at my X-rays and told me "You have arthritis."

DUH!!! Pretty obvious when you look at them.

He says there is not much he can do, and there is no cure.

Dr. Golshani never gave me an opportunity to ask real questions about therapy or what would help with pain --- not pain meds, but alternative pain management.

I never had the change to ask any question.

He just said someone will give you an injection and walked out.

Not very impressed!!

Very bad experience. Would not recommend Dr. Golshani.
