Patient-214

Patient-214 went to Dr. Edward Ashman at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center needing help because he was in pain and his kneecap was on the side of his knee. Dr. Ashman was cold and rude and spoke with the patient for only 120 seconds. Patient says Dr. Ashman threw a temper tantrum and left the room. DO NOT go to this doctor.

If I could leave zero stars or Negative stars, I absolutely would.

I have had knee pain for over a year --- for the last 9 months.

I was seeing an amazing Different Ortho, but unfortunately, when ruling out all of the other options to assist with the pain, surgery is now the only option. The Ortho I was seeing couldn't do the surgery.

After waiting a month to see Dr. Ashman, I show up to my appointment to find out he canceled my appointment without telling anyone.

Then, after the front desk people talked him into seeing me, he was so cold, and rude. He spoke to us for maybe 120 seconds during this visit and had no answers for our concerns.

I told him about everything that I have done over the last 9 months to attempt to treat this and nothing has worked.

He said that he didn't want to do my surgery and told me to do PT until my knee cap magically went back from the side of my knee to where it's supposed to go.

He offered me gel injections, but I already told him I had an allergy to the gel.

When I tried to explain this to him, he threw a temper tantrum and got up and left the room.

He told the patient advocates to ask me to leave the office.

I felt so defeated and disappointed. Although I expressed the high level of knee pain, he had no empathy or concern at all.

If you care about yourself, DO NOT GO TO THAT MAN. He isn't even a doctor in my book.
