The patient's wife said:

My husband was taken to Sunrise for CHF, had a Cath lab procedure and was taken to ICU.

Had swollen legs so bad he couldn’t bend his ankles or knees and had shortness of breath when he talked.

After a week, he was moved to rehab when he should have been kept in ICU.

He continued to have fluid retention and shortness of breath.

I talked to case management, and they all agreed he shouldn’t have been moved to Rehab.

He continued to go downhill and was moved emergently moved back to ICU.

It was then too late. He had gone into renal failure with respiratory issues, liver problems and neurological problems.

He was intubated, put on CRRT dialysis but all too late.

He was 46 years old and when he went there only had a heart valve issue.

He died Monday (July 13, 2026).

If you love your family do not take them there.
