Patient-66
No Medical Care and None of His Prescription Medications for 8 days at Sunrise Hospital
Patient-66 had a horrible surgical experience at Sunrise Hospital, leaving her with no voice box and an infection, and she was unable to speak. And a nurse ripped out her ventilation tube, making it difficult to breathe. The staff would not help the patient with even basic medical needs.
I need a medical malpractice lawyer!!
My experience at Sunrise Hospital has been traumatic, to say the least.
My simple surgery went horribly wrong --- leaving me with no voice box, so I can barely breathe or talk, and I have an infection and no one is helping.
I need a lawyer because some crazy nurse ripped a ventilation tube out of my nose and refused to help me, so I had my boyfriend call 911.
The nurse I got the night before was not much better. He used the fact that I had no voice box to gaslight me.

The nurse pretended to search for the elusive, busy charge nurse.
Since I could not speak, I had to scribble notes to ask for medical care such as a bedpan.
I felt my life was in danger, so I had to be more assertive in order to get any help. It is insane this happening at a major hospital.
When a doctor finally showed up (after I made multiple requests), he told the staff to take away my pen and paper. Really?
To cover for what the nurses did to me, the doctor tried to blame everything on me. Really?
If I had not defended myself, I probably would have sank that day, but I was like a shark and I kept on swimming.
